Bio

I am an artist of Palestinian, Latinx, Indigenous Central American, Irish and Jewish heritage. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I embarked on a unique journey that led me to Mongolia, where I resided in a traditional yurt for three years while contributing my efforts to the US Peace Corps. Later, I transitioned to a role within the United Nations Biodiversity Project. My adventurous spirit has led me to explore various corners of the globe, enriching my understanding of different cultures and perspectives.

I am the proud recipient of numerous grants, which have fueled my artistic endeavors. Notable among my achievements are exhibitions such as "Artists’ Footprints," showcased at Redline as part of the Biennial of the Americas in Denver. My work was also featured in "Detritus," exhibited at the Houston Art League in Texas, as well as the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder. Another remarkable project, "Ourubberous," captivated audiences at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. This site-specific installation ingeniously incorporated 10,000 discarded and punctured bike inner tubes, making a powerful environmental statement.

My work has been acquired by esteemed art consulting and curation companies, including Turning Arts, NINE dot ARTS, and MakeWest. My contributions to the world of art reflect my unique background and experiences, creating a rich tapestry of influences that resonate in my captivating creations.
